Dr. DiGiacomo brings a wealth of experience to the Monmouth County community, having served as Program Director of the Surgical Residency and Acting Chairman of Surgery at the Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, and as Director of the Port Authority Heroes of 9/11 Trauma Center in Jersey City. He has over 50 publications and book chapters, and has presented at numerous national meetings.
Dr. DiGiacomo is skilled in General, Laparoscopic, and Minimally Invasive Surgery, Endoscopy , Hyperbaric Medicine, and Advanced Wound Care.
Dr. DiGiacomo works closely with referring physicians to ensure continuity of care from each new patient’s initial evaluation through the conclusion of their surgical treatment along with a report summarizing the surgical care..
